Resume & Communications Service
The Resume & Communications Service provides the client with effective written communications to support their objective in the search for a new career opportunity. Deliverables include a resume and cover letter (up to two versions each), LinkedIn Profile and Personal Branding Statement.
The client completes initial information – gathering exercises and then meets with the consultant to discuss and analyze the information. A career objective(s) is agreed upon which sets the foundation to develop a comprehensive communications strategy. Here’s an outline of the process:
I. Information Gathering and Analysis
A. Career History and Talents, including skills, knowledge, experience and achievements
B. Career and Job Objectives
II. Resume and Cover Letter Development
A. Creation of resumes and cover letters utilizing key words and phrases
III. LinkedIn Profile
A. Development of an optimized LinkedIn Profile
B. Creation of a strategy to join and utilize appropriate LinkedIn Groups
IV. Personal Branding Statement
A. Development of a focused and effective introductory statement (“Elevator Speech”)
to optimize networking and referral building
